The project
For a scientific event with urologists, oncologists and radiotherapists, we turned the discussion of clinical cases into an immersive experience.
Each participant wears a Meta Quest 3 and moves through a 3D environment: clinic, ward, patient's home. Opening the medical record, or examining a report or a medicine vial, reveals information, questions and decision points, with simple puzzles along the way.
The experience is individual but synchronised: from the control room we track each participant's progress and launch the questions once everyone has completed the stage, so all 40 participants move forward and finish together. The chairman sees the answers as they arrive and, at the end, discusses them in plenary, in aggregated form on the large screen.
We developed the three cases, set up and managed the headsets and the control room, and provided the 4meet.in web app for audience questions.
