A mission in space, stage by stage
At the stand of a national osteoporosis congress, every doctor becomes an astronaut: they choose their avatar, receive an RFID card and move through five stations to an immersive space with three 85-inch screens.

The project
For the UCB stand at the SIOMMMS congress in Padua, we turned the visit into a space mission divided into five stages.
At the entrance, the doctor chooses one of 20 avatars and a nickname on a tablet, which are linked to a personal RFID card. By tapping the card on the station readers, the system recognises them and starts the activity; in a corner of each screen, their avatar and five placeholders appear, lighting up stage by stage.
On a touch table, a meteorite storm rains down, each meteorite shaped like an osteoporotic bone: it must be dragged into the correct container, and a mistake opens an explanation. Then comes a space laboratory where study data move, enlarge and rotate under the hands, an institutional area and a video that closes with the visitor's avatar and an invitation to the final stage.
The last stage is an immersive space: three 4K monitors of 85 inches each, arranged vertically side by side, show the drug's mechanism of action as if from the cockpit of a spacecraft, with a touch central screen.
We developed the applications, the accreditation system and the 600 cards, and provided dedicated hardware and network, along with set-up and support throughout the congress.
