Be Active: faster than light

For the Amgen stand at the SIE congress in Rome 2026, we turned Be Active into a reaction challenge.

In front of the visitor are five 3D-printed buttons with the Be Active logo. The buttons light up and must be hit as soon as they turn on: every hit scores points. As the seconds go by the pace picks up, and the lights come on faster and faster.

Above the buttons, a touchscreen accompanies the game, and at the end the score goes on the leaderboard, keeping the challenge going among the visitors to the stand.

We designed and 3D-printed the buttons and built the electronics: inside each one there is a sensor that detects the touch and an LED strip, driven by an Arduino in sync with the game.
